Trash the Dress by Stone Blue Productions

by Claire Goodman

This is not an April Fool’s joke, I promise. A few weeks ago Jeremiah Guelzo of Stone Blue Productions introduced me to this really fun trend called “Trash the Dress”. The idea, as I understand it, is that once you’re married you really don’t have any use for your wedding dress and might as well have a great time doing something slightly outrageous in it like driving a tractor, hiking in the woods or swimming … something really gritty and totally unapproved for a wedding dress!

Jeremiah sent me this great selection of photos from one of his trash the dress sessions and I am so happy to share them with you today!

These pictures are absolutely beautiful. As a wedding an event planner who works with many brides helping them to connect with the very best vendors, I highly recommend Jeremiah & Stoneblueproductions for your photography work of art. What a totally fun way to express yourself in a dress that has such limited use! another idea: If you don’t want to wait till after the wedding you could buy a more economical 2nd dress from a consignment shop and have all that fun
ahead of time. It could be a truly unique way to send out your “were engaged” announcements, or your “save the date” cards with an exciting picture of you!
