Aren’t these two the sweetest? I love their expressions… they look like they must have a lot of fun together! Thanks to Tammy and Jason of Jason Keefer Photography I’m happy to share Kelly & Hendrick’s engagement session with you today. Here are a few words from Tammy about the shoot and a new photo format they’ll be using this year (love it!):
This is Hendrick and Kelly who are getting married at the Clifton Inn on Saturday, July 23rd. Jason and I are really excited to work with them, they’re just really cool, laid back people. We’re also very happy to be working with Crystal Whitaker with the Event Company. These images were taken somewhere off the beaten path in Charlottesville. You’ll be seeing a lot more square images coming from us. Jason has this new obsession thing with squares, and he’s been frequently shooting with his Rolleiflex 6×6 medium format camera

These pictures are beautiful! I love the colors – my personal favorite is the 3rd one down, with the gold of the grass and the blues and greens of the mountains and the trees (sounds like a song, haha). I would also like to say I’m enjoying the squares. It’s refreshingly different, and I’m excited to see more from the new geometric obsession!
Thank you, Kelsey. That’s my favorite too. Hendrick and Kelly are so fun together that it’s hard not to get a good shot of them. We are very lucky to have such beautiful subjects in front of our camera.

I know that I am very biased as I am Hendrick’s aunt !!!!!! These pictures capture Hendrick and Kelly’s spirit so well. Hendrick’s ear to ear smile is one of the things that I have always loved about him.
