Claire has worked in the Charlottesville wedding community since 2004 in many capacities: writing and performing ceremonies, planning small weddings, writing the Charlottesville Wedding Blog and co-founding our area’s wedding association (CCWEP). One Sweet Wedding, a comprehensive resource for brides planning their local wedding, was an idea she envisioned for many years and is now so happy to see it come to life with the support of an amazing team of talented people.

Jessica Bullard

Jessica Sheffield Bullard lives in Charlottesville, VA with her husband, two dogs and two chickens. Over the past 10 years she has planned many, many events and weddings (including her own in 2011!) and has loved working with so many wonderful couples, their families and the many amazingly talented vendors that this area has to offer. She loves sharing her experience with couples while allowing them to enjoy a stress-free wedding weekend with their family and friends.When Claire invited her to join her on The Charlottesville Wedding Blog, she was so excited and jumped at the chance.

Cody Grannis, a lifetime Virginian, is an award winning, certified International Event and Wedding Professional (IEWP), holding certificates in Non-Profit Management and Meeting and Event Planning from the University of Virginia. She has over 5 years of experience planning University events in Charlottesville and throughout the country.

Cody, the mother of four, is the founder of Amore Events by Cody, LLC. She has orchestrated many weddings in Central Virginia and has an extensive network of reliable vendors in the region. You will find her to be extremely dedicated and always working hard to ensure that each bride receives the wedding of her dreams. Through Cody’s attention to detail and creativity, you can count on a wedding that will exceed your expectations.

Aaron Watson


Aaron began his professional photography career in 2004 and is the owner of Aaron Watson Photography and Exist N Motion Films. Since his start, Aaron has received numerous awards for his photography, and has contributed photographs to numerous online and print publications worldwide. Although born and raised in Charlottesville, Va Aaron likes to root for the Red Sox & Patriots due to his family’s New England roots.
