My name is Claire Goodman and I am an ordained Interfaith Minister living with my family in beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia. Every year I work with dozens of couples to create beautiful personalized wedding ceremonies and then perform them at venues throughout the area. In this capacity I am blessed to get to know so many wonderful couples as well as the dozens of incredible and talented vendors that work in Central Virginia to make each bride & groom’s wedding day a truly joyous and memorable event.

I started blogging in August of 2007 with no idea what I was doing or where it would lead. Over the months, I discovered that I love writing this blog and enjoy sharing my experiences and ideas as well as providing great resources in hopes that couples will find things that they can use for their own wedding planning needs and that the local community of wedding vendors would benefit as well.

It is my intention to continue to grow and expand this blog in the coming months and years with articles; interviews; product reviews; guest posts as well as more stories and on-going information about local resources and services.
