Best of 2012: Jack Looney Photography

Jack said, “It’s incredibly hard to choose 12 images from 40 weddings, and 40 wonderful couples!!!” … and I can only imagine how anyone would choose a mere 12 images from the tens of thousands taken over the course of a wedding season to represent their “best of”… but, I’d say Jack did a pretty great job!  I can’t even say which one I like best tho’ I have to say I absolutely love the sky over Veritas (4th image down) and am so happy to know that everyone stayed dry… thanks so much, Jack!

sweet kiss

Amanda & Lester ~ Albemarle family property. I just loved that couple, and recalling being in that moment with them makes me happy..Many moments we (photographers) share with couples are really special

funny group

Amanda & Ryan at King Family Vineyard: A fun & quirky group shot idea (after some more formal shots)

under the tree

Chrissy & Ben at Veritas Vineyards: I really like the “1st Look, No look” moments..

stormy skies

Chrissy & Ben at Veritas Vineyards: The reason I included this picture is that it never rained a drop that day, and was really pleasant (in a frightful way). Bold decision (on C&B’s part) to have the ceremony outdoors with potential nasty storms in the area.

in the window

Dana & Kevin at Farmington Country Club… I love that Jefferson Room!

Charlottesville catering

Jill & Brian at Panorama Farm: I love to combine a fisheye lens and details..Whole Foods catering did the cake/desserts.

Charlottesville barn wedding

Jill & Brian at Panorama Farm: Late night, fun barn shot, long exposure thingy..

CWBmore

amazing sky

Miller & Cory at King Family Vineyards. A twilight fisheye shot.

Rebecca & Steve at Turkey Sag Farm, Keswick: The Year of the Stinkbug…
